A DIY Centerpiece that turns into Parting Gifts for Party Guests

All of us here at LightsForAllOccasions.com love holiday parties... and gifts! For our fourth Christmas DIY, we will show you how you can create a lovely Christmas centerpiece that pulls double duty as gift favors for all your party guests.

Celebrate the Christmas Season!

Celebrate the season by celebrating your guests, friends and family alike! Our cluster of silver mercury glass mason jars acts as a festive centerpiece for your party table, and then is given away as individual gifts for your guests as the party draws to a close.

What You'll Need

  • • Our  (also available in Gold)
  • • Votive Candles - Real or Flameless
  •  Organza Ribbon
  • • Colorful Yarn
  •  Ornaments of your choice

Your friends won’t know they’re looking at take-home goodies…they’ll think you’re just a clever crafter! Decorated with gathered organza, a tree ornament and cranberries, the jars composing this seasonal table wreath are a beautiful way to add Christmas dazzle to your decor.

Think outside the jar!: in addition to seasonal gift giving, this is an amazing way to thank guests at bridal or baby showers…simply alter the embellishments to fit your theme!

Fill each jar with a variety of goodies; baked goods and sweets are always a hit! Tie these treat bags with generous lengths of yarn or ribbon. Make sure to include a votive candle (flameless or real) and another small ornament (you can choose a glass ornament, jingle bell or heck, just pick up a pinecone and hit it with some glitter!) in your gift pack.

hen your guests return home, they’ll decorate their new mason jar lantern with the included yarn and ornaments, then light the votive! They can nibble their goodies by the glow of the merry candle light!
