It’s Mardi Gras!
For many people, this holiday signifies New Orleans, the colors green and purple and yellow, festive music, and parties. Gina Tepper of Gift Decorating shared a few more of her DIY décor creations with us today, all centered around Mardi Gras.
As a bonus, we’ll also show you a photo shared today by a customer!
1. Bourbon Street Tissue Box Sign Decoration.
In the photo below, Gina used a battery-operated flameless pillar candle and a tissue box to create this Bourbon Street sign. Bet you couldn’t tell it wasn’t the real thing!
2. Tissue Box Jester Hat Janus Masks
Gina is great with Tissue boxes! In this DIY Mardi Gras decoration, she uses them to create jesters based on the Janus Masks made popular in theatre. Inside each you’ll find our flameless taper candles.
3. Mardi Gras Wine Bottle Decoration with Fairy Lights
Using a recycled empty wine bottle, Mardi Gras beads, and colorful feathers, Gina created this amazing Mardi Gras decoration. The soft glow inside is from our warm white fairy lights.
4. Mardi Gras Jacket Costume with Fairy Lights
In the photo below, customer Lisa shared how she used our green Shamrock fairy lights to illuminate this white jacket used as a costume for a Mardi Gras party.
